Hypnotherapy is a deep relaxation state where the patient feels comfortable and secure, and can accept information that is being fed into the subconscious mind directly. It is a state between waking and sleeping where physical sensations are felt and yet you are aware of external impressions. You can see as well as hear and still be in a state of hypnosis. Therapy success depends on the teamwork between the patient and the therapist. Esoteric hypnotherapy combines Clinical Hypnotherapy with traditional eastern techniques of Raja Yoga mind development and the works of western practitioners such as Paracelsus and Mesmer to create a system for gentle and effective change
Can everyone be hypnotised?
Yes. Hypnosis is an entirely natural state of mind which everyone goes through from waking to sleeping. As you relax down into sleep, the thinking part of the mind becomes unconscious first; then, after a short period of time, the instinctive part of the mind also become unconscious. For that short period of time you are in a hypnotic state.
What can Hypnosis treat?
Treatment can be divided into four types:
1. Compulsive behaviour and habits. Under this general heading are such problems as nail biting, stuttering, smoking, overeating, addictions and many more.
2. Nervous and neurosis problems. This includes anxiety, nervous tension, insomnia, nervous asthma, panic attacks, all sorts of phobias and neurotic behaviour
3. Physical. Under this heading is local pain control, natural fertility and childbirth. Mental attitudes to illness may modified to promote healing and allow the mind to be actively involved in promoting well being of the body. The big advantage here being that healing is promoted rapidly and is unhampered by drugs.
4. Ego Boost. Includ3ed in this group are self-co0nfidence, memory retention and concentration exercises, self-hypnosis, relaxation techniques and all the training methods for self-improvement such as learning to let go of negative emotions like guilt, anger etc.

Do I need an appointment and how much does it cost?
Yes, because each session is longer than 1 hour, only a limited amount of people can been seen each day. Usually you will have to book 1-2 weeks ahead, though urgent cases can sometimes receive the benefit of a cancellation
Sessions cost $160 and can last up to 1 ½ hours (and occasionally longer); the fee is not subject to time taken. The number of visits can vary from one to ten or more. Most troubles however are resolved in three to four sessions.
